Don’t Stress Over Thanksgiving Planning
Okay, be honest. Who’s stressed out already? All the planning, preparation, coordinating can get overwhelming even when we love to do it! I’ve polled my friends and social media followers and asked what they were most stressed out about when it comes to planning for the Thanksgiving holiday. I’ve read these and complied them into a few practical tips to simplify your Thanksgiving holiday.
Boundaries
So many of us are worried about the way the conversation will go when we gather friends and family that we haven’t seen in a while. Some of these family member have opposing views on just about everything! What can we do? Set boundaries. When you send the Thanksgiving day invite, simply say, “No talk of politics, please!”

Don’t Do It All
When someone asks you if they can bring anything, say yes! Don’t try to do it all. Outsource those desserts or side dishes! Better yet, order a pre-made Thanksgiving meal from your local grocery store. We have done this in the past and it’s great! Less time in the kitchen is always a good thing.
Plan Well
We all know that a good weekly meal plan can literally change our lives. A Thanksgiving plan is the same way. Use our free planner to plan your beverages, dishes, your shopping list, and your guest list. Plus more! There’s even a page of activities to plan for the kids.
Enjoy
Go in with an attitude of gratitude and enjoy those friends and family members to the fullest. After all, sometimes we only see them once a year. Make the best of it.
